"Greenwashing"

Green products and the availability of them used to be somewhat scarce. Now they suddenly seem readily available! But, are all these "green", "environmentaly friendly" products that are suddenly popping up in stores and advertisements actually what they claim to be? Are there really more natural, green products or are these companies "greenwashing" us?

Per wikipedia: Greenwash (a portmanteau of green and whitewash) is a term used to describe the perception of consumers that they are being misled by a company regarding the environmental practices of the company or the environmental benefits of a product or service.

Companies see the increased demand for natural, green products and they want in on the money. Some companies are making legitimate natural products but many are just making it appear that they are with misleading claims and advertisements.
If you want natural, green products DO YOUR RESEARCH!
